ZAMANITA
- Change of business model with higher crushing of oil seed and less importation due to much higher margins from crushing
FARMING
- Expansion of farming activities through acquisition of ETC Mpongwe farms
- Ensuring throughput of soya for Zamanita and wheat for flour milling division
STOCK FEED
- Enhancing the synergies of combined operations of Zamanita oil seed crushing and farming operations of Zambeef Group
GROWTH IN WEST AFRICA
- Zambeef expects strong growth in West Africa with new outlets due to open
- Expansion into primary production and processing facilities with a 25 year lease of a 287 hectare farm in the Ogun State with the set up of feedlotting, abattoir, processing plant and cold room operations
- Expansion of Shoprite footprint in Nigeria and Ghana through 4 – 9 stores opening in the next 24 months
RETAILING
- Greater focus on the retailing operations of the Group including refurbishment of existing retail outlets, rollout of new retail outlets, rollout of wholesale centres, and expansion of Zamchick Inn footprint
PALM
- Continued rollout of palm plantation and upon verification of the yield to expand plantation to 20 000 hectares plus mill
