The Directors of Zambeef Products Plc announce the financial results of the Group for the half year ended 31 March 2010. The following are the highlights:

• Turnover was ZMK 356,567 million
• Net profit after taxation was ZMK 11,931 million
• Retained profit for the period was ZMK 12,759 million
• Weighted Earnings per share was ZMK 74.87
