Zambeef’s newly refurbished Kabwe butchery

The latest store refurbishment is part of Zambeef’s on-going programme of upgrades to its 92 stores across the country.

“The aim is to ensure that our loyal customers are given the best service and the look of a store is actually part of that delivery. Clean and up-to-date facilities are a must in the food sector and the renovations to the store will help us to achieve that,” said joint chief executive officer Francis Grogan.

The Kabwe outlet now boasts nine check-out tills – the largest number of any of Zambeef’s butcheries countrywide – so customers can expect faster service.

The store also has more storage capacity as well as an improved air conditioning system allowing customers to walk around as they shop in comfort and keeping meat and dairy produce at a controlled temperature while ensure energy efficiency thanks to an “air curtain” at the door.
