Customers stand a chance of winning K50,000 in nationwide competition

LUSAKA, ZAMBIA – Lusaka’s Mutendere area was the venue for Zambeef Products’ popular 50pin at 50Years Butchery Bonanza prize draw this weekend.

Excited residents crowded the company’s butchery there to witness the draw for this month’s K200 cash voucher to spend at a Zambeef outlet. The winner of the prize will be entered into the draw to win K50,000 in Zambeef’s 50pin at 50Years Butchery Bonanza.

Consolation prizes of chitenges and other goods were also on offer in the draw, which has been growing in momentum since it was launched last year, with record numbers of participants now submitting entries.

Entrants for the completion are only required to spend K35 or more at any of Zambeef’s 92 outlets, complete the customer feedback slip, attach it to their Zambeef receipt slip and post it in the entry box at the shop. Each Zambeef receipt is equal to one entry, so customers can enter as many times as they wish.

The national raffle draw for the grand prize will be drawn in Lusaka on May 6, 2015.

“Zambeef’s butchery in Mutendere is one of our busiest outlets, so it’s great to have an exciting way to give back to customers,” said Zambeef group head of marketing, Lubinda Chamileke. “Zambeef butcheries are at the heart of every community we serve, and now anyone has the chance to win K50,000 cash – just for shopping at one of our butcheries. That’s enough money to transform your family’s life.”

Zambeef members of staff and their families are not eligible to enter, but the 50Pin at 50Years Butchery Bonanza competition will also identify the best performing outlet to receive the “Butchery of the Month” accolade.

The 50Pin at 50Years Butchery Bonzanza was officially launched in November at Zambeef’s butchery in Sunningdale Mall, kicked off by renowned ZNBC sports commentator Leonard Chibasa, where he presented soccer boots and balls to local schools.

Thousands of customers have already submitted their entry slips in order to take part in the contest.

December’s Butchery of the Month was in Mandevu, the January draw was held in Chawama, and February’s draw in Garden.
