Customers stand a chance of winning K50,000 in nationwide competition
LUSAKA, ZAMBIA – Momentum is growing with just two months left before the grand draw in Zambeef’s popular Butchery of the Month competition, as customers flocked to the company’s Garden Compound outlet in Lusaka today to discover who had won February’s prize draw.
Excitement mounted as Saturday morning shoppers jostled to see the draw in which customers stand a chance of savouring K50,000 in cash in the 50Pin at 50Years Butchery Bonanza– all for the price of spending just K35 or more on any Zambeef products in one of its 92 outlets.
Every month winning customers at each butchery also walk away with a K200 cash voucher to spend in their local Zambeef outlet. The monthly winner at each shop will then be entered into the national raffle draw for the grand prize, which will be drawn in Lusaka on May 6, 2015.
Thousands of customers have already submitted their entry slips in order to take part in the contest.
“Our Garden customers have really entered into the excitement of the draw!” said Zambeef Group Marketing Head Lubinda Chamileke. “Zambeef butcheries are at the heart of every community we serve, and now anyone has the chance to win K50,000 cash – just for shopping at one of our butcheries. That’s enough money to transform your family’s life.”
To enter, shoppers just need to make a purchase of at least K35 of any Zambeef product, complete the Customer Feedback slip, attach it to their Zambeef receipt slip and post in the entry box at the shop. Each Zambeef receipt is equal to one entry, so customers can enter as many times as they wish.
Zambeef members of staff and their families are not eligible to enter, but the 50Pin at 50Years Butchery Bonanza competition will also identify the best performing outlet to receive the “Butchery of the Month” accolade.
This month’s winning outlets were Zamchick Inn, Southgate, which received K2800; Shoprite Chipata: K4000; Matero Butchery: K3500 and Kapiri Mposhi Butchery: K4000.
The 50Pin at 50Years Butchery Bonanza was officially launched in November at Zambeef’s butchery in Sunningdale Mall, Alick Nkhata Road, Lusaka, kicked off by renowned ZNBC sports commentator Leonard Chibasa, where he presented soccer boots and balls to local schools.
December’s Butchery of the Month was in Mandevu and the January draw was held in Chawama.
